Empowerment Workplace Workshop to Minimize Harassment Risk for the Modern Day Manager: the Social and Behavioral Approach to Social Change
This session is designed for the managers, who are either in the process of resolving harassment issues or are in the resolution phase. This workshop provides a safe platform for managers to discuss and brainstorm ways to promote and support workplace healing by focusing on messaging, language and brainstorm strategies that will promote healing, inclusion, and cohesiveness in the workplace.
- Discuss the deep impact of harassment on an organization (financially, emotionally, culturally, etc)
- Discuss the importance of messaging, transparency, and communication from management
- Cover ramifications of minimizing or taking a lax approach
- Suggested resources to implement to help foster healing and repair
- Role of workplace harassment training/consultation
Managers should attend this session if they are currently involved in harassment issues or have a history of harassment issues at their workplace. This session strongly focuses on what is required to help heal a workplace from harassment and discusses the supports and changes that are needed to move a company from crisis to stability.
