News: Apple to reclose 30 stores as the COVID-19 cases surge nationwide

Tech Giant Apple declared earlier this week that it will be reclosing its 30 national stores worldwide as the coronavirus cases surge again. Up till today, Apple has closed a total of 47 stores nationwide, adding to which, a total of 77 stores will be shut by the end of this week.

An Apple spokesperson said, "Due to current COVID-19 conditions in some of the communities we serve, we are temporarily closing stores in these areas". Apple was one of the first few companies to shut its stores due to the deadly COVID-19 pandemic spread. It has a total of 271 stores in the United States.
