News: FDA issues warning letters to GE for cybersecurity threats

The US Food and Drug Administration FDA has issued a warning to the public and an Electronics Company, General Electrics, for detecting a flaw in a health-care device that interferes with the alarm systems of the health care monitors that measure patient's heart rate and blood pressures. The machine is typically used to alarm nurses in case of emergencies.

The FDA had previously launched a couple of notifications that diligently warned the electronic manufacturing companies to be more cautious in developing their medical device equipment with sophisticated mechanisms helping both patients and hospitals.
